Youth Chain
YouthChain is an open-source Layer 1 blockchain that implements a unique consensus mechanism called Proof of Engagement (PoE). It combines elements of both Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS), allowing every user to become a validator based on their engagement with creators’ content, the time spent on the platform, and the data consumed while using the products.
Key features and principles of YouthChain include:
- Proof of Engagement (PoE): PoE enables users to actively participate in the consensus process by validating transactions and blocks based on their engagement activities. This includes interactions with content, the duration of platform usage, and data consumption. The more engaged a user is, the higher their chances of becoming a validator.
- Validator Rewards: Users who actively engage with creators’ content and spend time on the platform will have the opportunity to earn YouthCoin as rewards.
- Open-Source: YouthChain follows an open-source approach, making the blockchain’s code accessible to the community. This encourages transparency, collaboration, and community-driven development.
- Decentralization and Security: By allowing every user to become a validator, YouthChain aims to achieve a higher level of decentralization. This decentralized network enhances security by reducing the risk of single points of failure or manipulation, making the blockchain more resilient and tamper-proof.
- YouthCoin: YouthChain has its native cryptocurrency, called YouthCoin, which serves as the medium of exchange within the ecosystem. Users can earn YouthCoin through their engagement on the platform, and it can be used for various activities such as accessing platform features, participating in the staking system, and conducting transactions.
